Ricardo's life has never been easy. Today, at 60 years old, he faces a daily battle against Parkinson's disease.

The tremors make his routine difficult. Every movement requires effort. The simplest tasks have become constant challenges.

But beyond the illness, there is another reality that moves anyone who hears his story.

Ricardo lives alone in an improvised shack, built from pieces of wood and tires.

The structure is extremely fragile. Inside the house there is almost no furniture. He has no stove. Basic conditions for living with dignity are missing.

While trying to live with the progression of Parkinson's, Ricardo also has to face the lack of resources to maintain his treatment.

The disease requires medical follow-up, medication, and constant care. Unfortunately, his financial reality does not allow him to access everything he needs.
